Spring has arrived and summer is just around the corner....the time for picking fresh strawberries &.  cherries or visit a Rose Farm.

POLKADRAAI STRAWBERRY FARM, STELLENBOSCH
Polkadraai Strawberry Farm is easily the most popular fruit-picking farm in Cape Town. Apart from picking your own strawberries, Polkadraai also offers many activities for the whole family. Tractor rides, pony rides, mini golf, and face painting are some of the things you can do while you’re there.

KLONDYKE CHERRY FARM, CERES

Cherry-picking season starts in November and runs until the end of December. Several varieties of cherries are available to pick depending on the time you visit. Make a day of it and plan pack a picnic or braai at the farm in the shade of the pine trees.

HILLCREST BERRIES, STELLENBOSCH
Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and tayberries are available for purchase at Hillcrest Berries. However, Hillcrest does not open their orchards to the public because damage to the new shoots could compromise future crops. Nevertheless, it makes a great addition to your fruit and flowers itinerary.
